Brentford's Women kicked off their 2015 game schedule with a loss last week.
The Bees took on Watford Development in a top-of-the-table clash last Sunday, January 11, but were beaten 4-0.
Manager Leigh Begam said: "Sunday's game was the first for the Brentford Ladies after the Christmas break.
"The players were out of the blocks very well, despite into a strong wind, and Gema Lucero struck the bar from 30 yards.
"She then repeated the feat five minutes later.
"When Lavana Neufville beat four players and forced a good save from the Watford keeper the feeling was that Brentford had to do something amazing to score.
"Brentford then conceded when trying to play out from the back and a goal kick fekk to a striker who finished well.
"A second Watford goal soon followed when Brentford were slow to clear and there was another good finish from outside the box.
"Playing into the wind Brentford knew they could pen in Watford and apply pressure.
"This started from kick off with a good ball from Claire Richardson to play in Lavana who stuck the ball hard from six yards, it was somehow kept out again by the inspired keeper.
"Then Lucero hit the bar for the third time and Victoria James also struck the woodwork from a free kick.
"It was clear that it wasn't going to be Brentford's day.
"With five minutes to go Brentford pressed for a goal even more but were undone by two counter attacks for Watford to complete their smash and grab for all three points."
Watford climbed above The Bees with the win and now sit third in the London and South East Regional Women's Football League London Division.
Brentford slipped to fifth.
