The first team had a tough start to the season with Karleigh Osborne’s side enduring an opening day 3-2 defeat to Ashmount Leigh on Sunday 27 August. Since then, the Bees have played four times during September, with the side winning twice, drawing once and also losing once.
Sunday, 3 October
Brentford 2 Hackney Women 2
The Bees were keen to bounce back following their opening day defeat, with the side playing out a dominant first half against Hackney. Chloe Logie netted following an excellent move, before Ella Cottrell put Brentford two up with a superb strike just before the interval.
Despite going into the break looking comfortable, Hackney showed desire to forge a comeback in a second half which was disrupted by long stoppages of play. The visitors pulled one back on the hour mark and secured the draw after an unfortunate Brentford own goal deep into injury time.

Brentford 4 Ruislip Rangers 0
Brentford picked up their first win of the season beating Ruislip Rangers 4-0 in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup in what was a magnificent performance.
The Bees were the dominant side from start to finish as they brushed past tier seven outfit Ruislip Rangers to progress in the FA Cup. First half strikes from Chloe Logie and Ashley Arquette were followed up by two brilliant long-range goals from Ellen Wardlaw in the second half ensuring Brentford’s win.

Sport London E Benfica 3 Brentford 2
Osborne would have hoped his side’s previous win in the FA Cup was the start of a positive run in the league.
Sport London E Benfica had different ideas though, as Brentford found themselves 3-0 down going into half-time in what was a disappointing first half performance. The Bees put on a dominant display in the second half, with goals from Nikki Woods and Chloe Logie helping the side back into the match. Sport London were able to see out their lead with Brentford’s hard work in the second half coming to no avail.
Sunday, 24 September
Brentford Women 3 Denham United 2
Brentford picked up their first win in the London South East Division One North beating Denham United 3-2 at Bedfont Sports Club.
The Bees put on an impressive first half performance with Kirsty Matthews striking twice and Chloe Logie also netting in a half which saw Brentford dominate. Denham struck twice late into the second half, but Karleigh Osborne’s side showed their resilience as they defended well to see out an important win.
