Brentford’s Women exited the FA Women’s Cup at the Second Qualifying Round stage on Sunday.
The Bees were beaten 5-4 by Long Lane despite leading 2-0, 3-2 and 4-3.
Dana Johnson scored twice to put Brentford two up but Long Lane levelled.
There was still time in an entertaining first half for The Bees to go 3-2 up, Vicky James scoring a penalty, and then 4-3 up when Claire Richardson headed in.
Long Lane dominated the second half and had Brentford on the back foot.
Two goals after the break gave Long Lane a place in the Third Qualifying Round.
