Chloe Logie claimed her sixth match ball of the season as her hat-trick and an Eleonora Cottrell strike ensured the 4-0 win for Brentford Women in their final home game of the season.
The Bees found themselves 2-0 up in the opening 20 minutes in what was a fantastic start from the side who played like they had something to prove following last weekend’s cup final defeat. Jodie Reid put in a stunning performance grabbing a hat-trick of assists to help Logie score her three goals before Cottrell sealed the victory with a goal from the bench.
The women’s first team turned their full attention to the league knowing they may have to win their final four games and rely on Dorking to drop points if they are to win the title.
The host’s got off to a confident start with Kirsty Matthews looking like a threat from the off as she returned to the starting 11.
The attacker drifted off the right flank once she had received the ball and shot from range with her effort going just past the left post.
It took Brentford just 11 minutes to get the opener which come from a predictable scorer in Logie.
The number nine got on the end of a brilliant cross from Jodie Reid and tucked the ball past the outcoming Dulwich keeper with great composure.

It was the Reid and Logie show in the opening 20 minutes as the pair linked up again to make it 2-0 just seven minutes later.
This time Reid delivered a brilliant in-swinging set-piece from the right flank which landed on the foot of the striker who got a small touch on the ball to guide it into the back of the net.
Debutant Sophie Boycott had very little to do between the sticks for Brentford in the opening half but was solid when called upon.
Just after the half-hour the Dulwich midfielder delivered a dangerous in-swinging corner which had to be cleared off the line by Chloe Webb.
Brentford comfortably saw out the remainder of the first half as they controlled possession with Mollie Holmes and Freya Worsley keeping the ball very well in midfield.
The visitors made a more positive start to the second half and nearly pulled one back five minutes after the break when the Dulwich number eight saw her free-kick from 25 yards crash against the bar before bouncing out of play.

Holmes was having an excellent game for Brentford and showed great skill to beat her marker before playing through a pinpoint pass to Logie but the striker was denied her hat-trick following a great save from the Dulwich keeper.
Logie wasn’t to be denied her hat-trick for much longer though with the forward making it 33 goals for the season just after the hour mark.
Reid turned provider again making it a hat-trick of assists for the winger who simply past the ball across the box allowing Logie to stroke her shot into an empty net.
Brentford were rampant and made it four a few minutes later courtesy of substitute Eleonora Cottrell.
The winger got the final touch on a Sophie Troth corner which Dulwich failed to clear taking her goal tally to three for the season.

Speaking on the win, Osborne said: “I was really pleased, we played some good football and controlled the game for 90 minutes so overall it was a good three points.
“It was important that we started well which we did and to get two early goals I think it helped us settle into the game. We had a good first half and the second half was more of the same I was really pleased with how we moved the ball and I think we could have probably got more goals.”
Reid has been a consistent performer for the Bees in recent weeks with her performances out on the left flank proving to be decisive, especially in the attacking areas.
Osborne explained how pleased he has been with the midfielder in recently and explained her importance to the team.

“Jodie is massively important to us, whenever I call upon her to do something she always does it for me her attitude has been really good and she’s always pushing to get herself in the team.
“I’m over the moon that she got her hat-trick of assists because she deserves that, she’s been a fantastic servant for the club and continues to improve every year.”
Cottrell made a real impact for Brentford after her introduction to the game and managed to grab herself a goal as she extended her side’s lead.
Osborne continued: “We have a difficult 11 to get into and Ella’s attitude has been fantastic, I’ve been super pleased with how she has been performing and I think she’s taken her levels up.
“When she came on today she made an instant impact she got a goal and she deserves a lot of praise.”
