Brentford's 6,226 travelling fans for the Good Friday match away at Fulham was the third biggest away attendance in the entire Sky Bet Football League last season.
The Bees were one of only three clubs to take more than 6,000 away fans to a match according to stats released by the Football League.
Only Leeds United and Middlesbrough took more away fans to a match last season than The Bees did for their 4-1 win at neighbours Fulham on Good Friday.
The victory at Fulham was one of a number of great days in a remarkable season for Brentford and the fans.
The Bees were followed by an average of 1,460 away fans last season, the 11th highest number in the Football League.
More than 2,000 fans made trips to Reading, Charlton Athletic, Derby County, Watford and Brighton and Hove Albion.
The match away at Derby County in April, which ended in a 1-1 draw, was watched by 30,043 fans, the 15th biggest attendance across all three leagues last season.
It wasn't just on the road that Brentford fans were well represented as the average attendance at Griffin Park rose by a fantastic 40 per cent.
The rise was beaten only by Coventry City whose return to The Ricoh Arena from Sixfields saw their home attendances rise by 264 per cent.
Griffin Park had an average occupancy of 88 per cent which saw The Bees finish ninth in the Football League on ground occupancy with an average home attendance of 10,820, more than double what it was in 2010/11.
