Brentford Women's number 12 Nikki Saunders opened the scoring for her side moments before half time with a stunning goal helping the Bees to progress into the Second Round of the League Cup on Sunday.
The First Team put on a dominant performance at Bedfont Sports Club on with Saunders starring throughout.
She said: “I thought we played really well, they were a tough side and it was 0-0 for quite a while but we didn’t panic and finally got a couple of goals.”

The left winger put the Bees in the lead on 43 minutes after taking on two Newhaven players and smashing the ball into the top corner from 25 yards out.
“I scored a similar goal at the start of the season, but the last couple of weeks things haven’t gone my way so I’m glad my shot went in, it’s a big confidence boost," said Saunders.
“The coaches encourage us to be creative and do what we feel is best, Karleigh and Sean are very supportive so it’s great that we can work on these types of things in training.”
The Bees got their second of the game through substitute Eleonora Cottrell on 65 minutes, ensuring their place in the hat form the Second Round of the League Cup.
Saunders added: “We're very happy with the Cup win, bring on the next round!”
