Brentford FC’s Futsal Club were in action this week, as on Tuesday they played the First Round of The Soccer AM Cup, plus two Football League Trust fixtures against Brighton and Hove Albion A and B teams on Wednesday.
The First Round draw, played at the Birmingham International Futsal Arena, grouped Brentford against Cardiff City, Southampton and Crawley Town.
Brentford lost their first game 2-1 against Cardiff City, but then beat Crawley Town 10-1 to set up their final game against Southampton.
The Saints came out on top by three goals to nil, so Brentford missed out on further qualification and will instead play in the plate tournament.
The following day, Brentford then faced a double header against two Brighton and Hove Albion sides at SportHouse in Barking.
They drew 3-3 with The Seagulls A team, but lost 4-1 against their B side.
