The Brentford Football Club 125 Year Anniversary Dinner will be held on Thursday November 20 2014.
The Club is delighted to announce the prestigious anniversary event will be held at The Hurlingham Club, on the banks of the River Thames.
And all profit raised on the night will go to Brentford Football Club Community Sports Trust, a charitable trust supported by the Club which provides sport, education and career opportunities in the area.
The 2014/15 season is the Club’s 125th.
Brentford FC was formed at a meeting on October 10 1889 with a formal decision to play association football rather than rugby football taken six days later.
The first game was played on November 23 1889 and the anniversary dinner will be held almost 125 years to the day.
It will start at 6.30pm and a three-course meal, served with wine, will be served at 7.15pm.
The Club has invited special guests from the world of football to attend and there will be some fantastic guests lined up to speak, who will be confirmed in due course.
There will also be appearances from some of the biggest names in the 125 year history of Brentford Football Club.
Terry Evans, Peter Gelson, Jackie Graham, Alan Hawley and Bobby Ross have confirmed their attendance and others who have played more than 250 games for The Bees have been invited.
Representatives from the Brentford First Team management will also be in attendance.
Tickets will cost £125 and include a three-course meal and half a bottle of wine per person on each table.
As well as the guest speakers there will be other entertainment on the evening and an auction to pick up some Club and sporting memorabilia, with all profits going to the Trust.
