Representatives from Brentford FC have collected an award to mark excellence in community investment.
It was announced in June the Club had been awarded renewal of the prestigious Business in the Community - CommunityMark, the UK's national standard for leadership in community investment.
Only 44 companies currently hold this sought after standard.
The Club was applauded for the community work undertaken by Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, which has also seen them named the Football League Community Club of the Year 2014.
The renewal of the award sees the club and Trust continue to be part of a group of leading businesses that have collectively invested over £728 million in UK communities in 2013.
Club Director Donald Kerr and Lee Doyle, Chief Executive at Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, collected the prize at Business in the Community's National Gala Dinner, supported by the 2013 Responsible Business of the Year Jaguar Land Rover, on July 8.
Donald said: "Business in the Community carry out a rigorous audit of the value of companies' community activity before according them Community Mark status.
"And they are equally stringent when renewing the award every three years.
"Brentford FC are one of a handful of UK companies, most of them much larger blue chip corporates, to have achieved this award, we are the only Community Mark sports club.
"While it is due in large part to the excellent work of our Community Sports Trust, it is the contribution made by the whole company and all the staff, including the players, that has helped us win and retain Community Mark.
"As a Director of the Club and a trustee of the CST, I confess to being biased, but I don't believe there are many organisations in the country which can match us in this increasingly vital and valued aspect of our business.
"We should all be very proud to be attached to Brentford FC."
