Brentford will travel to Portugal next month as part of their pre-season preparations. The ten day trip is expected to include a match on a date and opponents yet to be confirmed.
After recent pre-season trips to Norway (2011), Germany (2012, 2013) and the USA last summer, Brentford will now go to Portugal for their pre-season tour. Marinus Dijkhuizen’s squad will depart on 6 July and return on 16 July.
This is the third time Brentford will have played in Portugal, with previous visits in 1936 and 1988.
