The project team for the Brentford Community Stadium is pleased to announce that Sally Stephens has joined in the role of Project Operations Manager.
Sally joins the team from her previous role as Researcher and Chief of Staff for Mary Macleod, former Member of Parliament for Brentford & Isleworth. Prior to this, Sally spent more than 10 years working as a Management Consultant for the global firm Accenture specialising in managing change in large organisations. She is a regular visitor to Griffin Park with her two sons.
Sally will work with Brian Burgess and Chris Gammon as part of the Lionel Road Developments team (a wholly owned subsidiary of Brentford Football Club), which will oversee the building of the new multi-purpose community stadium.
Chris Gammon said: “We are continuing to build our internal team to support the construction of the new stadium, in anticipation of work commencing on site, and we are increasingly focussing on the operational aspects of running the stadium. We are delighted that we have been able to appoint Sally to the Lionel Road Developments team at this exciting time in the project. Sally’s knowledge of the local area and project management experience will be a valuable asset and help us deliver our commitments both to the club and the local community.”
The project team are also pleased to announce that Jemma Emmerson has joined the team in the role of Legal Assistant.
Jemma has recently completed the Bar Professional Training Course and has joined the Lionel Road Developments team on a temporary basis. Jemma will be using her legal knowledge and passion for sport to help the company on all the legal arrangements relating to the new Brentford Community Stadium, including the forthcoming CPO enquiry.
