The 33-year-old has worked with our Community Sports Trust for nine years after winning ‘Deaflympics’ gold and European Championship silver medals in his 60-cap career as a left winger with Great Britain’s deaf team over 15 years.
Having hung up his boots, Ben is now keen to inspire the next generation and has applied to study for a UEFA A License coaching badge. He will be part of the England coaching staff at this summer's deaf European Championships in Crete and holds hopes of coaching at a professional club in the future.
