Here at Brentford we are really looking forward to this Saturday, and the first home game of the new season against Nottingham Forest. That is rapidly followed by a Tuesday night game on 15 August against Bristol City. Whether you want to bring a mate, bring the kids whilst they are on their holidays, or perhaps upgrade to a hospitality package - we have tickets available for both matches.
There has been some great football at Griffin Park in recent years, and this squad looks like it could be the strongest yet - come and see what you think if you haven’t already!
As well as being a fan of the Club, I am Chairman of Bees United (the Brentford Supporters Trust) and as a result I have had the privilege of being a Director on the Club Board for almost a decade. We have seen the Club go on an incredible journey, from staving off insolvency, relegation and the potential move to Woking, to now being an established Championship club, and with a new - local - stadium being constructed at Lionel Road.
Back in the day Bees United members were paying substantial sums - some loaning thousands of pounds - to keep the Club afloat. Now, thanks to the incredible levels of investment by Matthew Benham, crisis is averted and we are enjoying fantastic football. Bees United also has two Board representatives and a 'golden share' protecting our stadium.
We are always looking for new BU members, our membership now costs just £5 for a season. It is available on the Club ticketing website under Memberships. By joining (if you haven’t already) you will help keep supporters at the heart of the Club. We will welcome new members.
