Bees Review – Brentford’s official match day programme - returns for a new season this Saturday against Charlton Athletic.
With new designers and printers, the Club hopes to build on last season’s success that saw them win Midlands Programme Club League One Programme of the Year for 2013/14.
The price will remain at £3 for 84 pages, and is packed with the usual features.
Saturday’s interview is with Moses Odubajo, and he speaks to Bees Review about his career in football so far.
Brentford FC Chief Executive Mark Devlin and Manager Mark Warburton have their own exclusive columns, which are authored by themselves and not ghost-written.
The programme contains new sections looking back at a programme from the past, an expanded visitors section and a new column by Brentford collector Paul Briers, showcasing memorabilia on the Club’s past.
Last season was Ian Westbrook’s final with the Brentford match day programme after almost 30 years service.
Ian contributed his first piece for the Club in the mid-1980s, subsequently writing around 3,000 articles for the programme in total.
His writing was prolific and varied, ranging from a synopsis of Brentford’s opponents, the popular “On this Day” feature, interviews, and a round-up of how other clubs in The Bees' league were faring.
Bees Review Editor Mark Chapman said: “I’d like to thank Ian for his commitment and dedication over the years, which amounts to a substantial body of work.
“To write 3,000 articles is an incredible achievement and may not be bettered in the future.”
Programme subscriptions for the 2014/15 are available.
