Gary Murphy and Doug Collins, pictured above with Dean Smith, are among those taking on the challenge to raise funds for the EFL's official charity partner this weekend, 9-11 June. They will travel 145 miles in the space of two days, leaving the Olympic Park and finishing at the Amsterdam Arena. They will complete the ride tomorrow before travelling back on Sunday. Roy Beckerson, Adam Rontaler and Graham Godden, who will be on their third ride, will also be representing The Bees.
Backed by the English Football League and the League Managers Association, the event will see Gary and Doug join the likes of Les Ferdinand, Terry Butcher and Simon Grayson on the way to the Dutch capital. Last year saw riders from over 60 football clubs across the Premier League, EFL and Non League complete the challenge. So far more than £400,000 has been raised to help beat prostate cancer and there is still time to donate.
