Brentford fan and Founder of the 92plus1 challenge, Simon Cox, is at it again as he attempts to visit the international football stadiums of the home nations inside 24 hours.
Cox, 40 from Kettering, Northants, successfully led the 92plus1 challenge for charity last October when a group of football fans visited all 92 clubs in the Premier League and Football League sandwiched between the England v Montenegro and Poland qualifiers and now Cox is taking his groundhopping challenge to the international stage having launched the Four Stadium Challenge.
The challenge will see a visit to the international football stadiums of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales using four different methods of transport and there are just 24 hours to complete the challenge.
The challenge, which is raising money for Niamhs Next Step, a charity raising awareness and funds for research into Neuroblastoma, kicks off at 7pm today, Wednesday October 15, and the team have just 23 hours and 45 minutes to complete the challenge when they leave Wembley to visit the four nations.
Cox said "I am really looking forward to this challenge and I would like to thank everyone who has assisted with the planning.
"There has been interest from around the UK and overseas as this has never been attempted before.
"It's going to be an interesting and exciting challenge."
