The Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and the Griffin Park Learning Zone are launching a brand new, free computer course, starting this afternoon, designed to help fans become confident computer users. The course will teach participants to use online purchasing sites, confidently compose and send emails with attachments and /or web links, and understand the basics of MS Windows (e.g. Word). The sessions are designed to cover a broad range of detail and learners will have plenty of opportunities to ask specific questions. Learners with different levels of experience are accommodated. Light refreshments will be available.
The free five-week course will take place in the Learning Zone at Griffin Park, formerly the Harry Curtis lounge, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm on Monday afternoon’s, starting this afternoon, 18th April , and will be led by a qualified tutor from Hounslow Adult Community Education. This course is for learners who have limited experience of a computer and would like to become more confident, however, you must be 19 years old or over to attend.
