The Brentford FC Community Sports Trust and the Griffin Park Learning Zone are launching a brand new computer course, starting next Monday, designed to provide a starting point for becoming a confident computer user. The course will teach participants the basics of getting online, build their confidence in being able to switch on and shut down a computer, start getting used to using the mouse and keyboard, and using the internet. It is an ideal starting point before moving on to other courses such as shopping and paying bills online.
The free five-week course will take place in the Learning Zone at Griffin Park, formerly the Harry Curtis lounge, between 1pm and 3pm on Monday afternoon’s, starting on 22 February, and will be led by a qualified tutor from Hounslow Adult Community Education. This course is designed for complete beginners who have never used or have limited experience of a computer, however, you must be 19 years old or over to attend.
