The next generation of Brentford players will get their chance to play on the Griffin Park pitch tonight, 8 September, when Brentford B host Liverpool Under-23 in their latest friendly match, kick-off 7pm.
The B Team, made up of an elite group of players aged between 17 and 21, with close links to the first-team, have already enjoyed high profile trips to Manchester City, Chelsea, Villarreal, and Valencia this season. Now Flemming Pedersen’s side get their first chance to play on the Griffin Park pitch as they welcome The Reds to West London for the first in a series of matches to be played at the club's home ground over the coming months.
It will be a first chance for many fans to see the B Team in action at home, with a number of the B Team’s summer signings including the latest arrival Raphael Assibey-Mensah, and some more familiar faces, likely to be involved.
Entry to the match will be free for spectators on the night via the Braemar Road stand.
