Brentford defender Charlie Goodehas confirmed he has not got over a medical issue that has been affecting him for the past few months. At the start of last month there was an update that Charlie had been missing with illness. He returned to training and played a part in the Sky Bet Championship draw against Watford, and the win over Reading a few days later, but is still not back to full fitness.

Charlie joined Brentford from Northampton Town in August. The 25-year-old, who captained The Cobblers to success in the Sky Bet League Two Play-Offs last season, agreed a four-year contract when he moved to West London. He made his Brentford debut against Wycombe Wanderers in the Carabao Cup in September and has played eight games for The Bees so far, four in the Sky Bet Championship.
