Sergi Canos's fabulous strike in the 2-1 win away at Reading was the runaway winner of the 2016 Brentford Goal of the Season. The on-loan Liverpool winger controlled Ryan Woods' long-ball before beating two defenders and volleying past Jonathan Bond to score The Bees winning goal at The Madejski Stadium in December. The Spaniard's strike beat Alan Judge's effort at home to Rotherham United into second place with Marco Djuricin's winner against Queens Park Rangers third.

Sergi joined The Bees from Liverpool in September, making his debut in the 1-1 draw at Elland Road against Leeds United. In total the 19-year-old made 38 appearances during his season long loan, signing off with his seventh goal of the season in Saturday's 5-1 win over Huddersfield Town.
