It was announced yesterday, Tuesday 22 March, that long-serving Brentford defender Rico Henry has signed a new long-term contract. The 24-year-old left sided player committed his future to The Bees by putting pen to paper at the end of last week. He has signed a deal until the summer of 2026. There is a Club option for an additional year.

Rico has been with Brentford since the summer of 2016 and is one of the Club’s longest-serving players. He joined from Walsall and has just played his 150th game for The Bees in all competitions. See the full story here.

Rico has played 151 games for Brentford and scored four goals. Two of those goals have come since he was part of the team that won promotion to the Premier League. Rico's career at Brentford so far can be seen in pictures here.
