This will be Reece’s second loan of the season and third overall. He started the campaign with Sky Bet League Two Yeovil Town and played two games for them at the start of the season. He also spent part of last season at Newport County. He played five games for Newport, scoring the winner on his debut against Coventry City, but had to return to West London after picking up a knee injury.

Reece made his professional debut in Brentford’s Sky Bet Championship win over Nottingham Forest in 2017. He has played 13 times for Brentford B this season, scoring four goals, and also featured in pre-season friendlies against Boreham Wood, Karlsruher Sport-Club Mühlburg-Phönix e.V. and Wycombe Wanderers. Maidenhead are currently 22nd in the National League and will play seven league games before the end of 2018, starting at Sutton tomorrow.

Kevin O’Connor, Brentford B Head Coach, said: “The loan at Yeovil did not work out as we, or Reece, would have liked but this is another opportunity for him to show the ability he has on and off the ball. He can go out and play competitive football where points are at stake and that will help his development. There will be a lot of matches to play and that will be a different challenge for him to adapt to. As Maidenhead do not train every day, there will also, we hope, be chances for him to train with us during his loan, which should benefit all parties.”
