Brentford's Sky Bet Championship match away to Reading has been rearranged for early February. The Bees were due to head to Berkshire on Saturday, 16 January, for a game scheduled to kick-off at 3pm. It was announced yesterday that the game was suspended and it will now take place on Wednesday 10 February, kicking-off at 7pm.

The week of 10 February is the one that Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round fixtures are due to take place. If The Bees progress to that stage of the competition by beating Leicester City in the Fourth Round, the game will then take place on Wednesday 10 March. That game would also have a 7pm kick-off.

Brentford will be looking to complete a leaue double over Reading. The Bees won 3-1 in the reverse fixture in December with Mathias Jensen opening the scoring before a Bryan Mbeumo double sealed the win. Sone Aluko scored a consolation goal for Reading.

Reading currently sit fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table, one place and one point behind The Bees, albeit having played a game more. Since defeat at Brentford they have taken seven points from three games and are only three points behind second-placed Swansea City.
