Brentford striker Paul Hayes has joined fellow npower League One side Crawley Town on loan for a month.

The 29-year-old joined The Bees from Charlton Athletic last August.

He has scored six goals for Brentford this season in 30 games, 13 of which have been as a substitute.

He linked up with Crawley today and will be available for the Sussex side’s trip to Yeovil Town tomorrow night.

Paul will remain at Crawley until April 7.

Paul started out at Norwich City but moved to Scunthorpe United in 2002.

He spent six of the next eight seasons at Glanford Park and scored 74 goals for The Iron.

Paul also had spells at Barnsley, Huddersfield Town and Preston North End before joining Charlton in the summer of 2011.

He helped The Addicks to the npower League One title, the third time he had won promotion from the third tier and his fourth promotion in total.

He moved to Griffin Park on a three-year contract at the start of the 2012/13 season.
