Nik Tzanev has returned to Brentford FC after the completion of his loan spell with Ryman Premier League side Lewes FC. The 18-year-old goalkeeper joined The Rooks last month and made six starts for the East Sussex side, keeping a clean sheet in their 4-0 victory over Hampton and Richmond Borough.

Nik signed a one-year Development Squad deal in the summer after impressing during his two year scholarship, helping The Bees to the Under-18 Professional Development League Two Play-Off final back in May.

Last season also saw the Wellington born keeper earn international recognition with New Zealand at the Under-20 FIFA World Cup and in the Under-23 Pacific Games football tournament. Nik played two games at the Under-20 World Cup helping New Zealand to their first ever win at the competition and then performing well in a narrow 2-1 Quarter-Final defeat to Portugal.
