Bees claim win on wet and wild night in Blackburn

Blackburn away on a Friday night is a tough test for anyone in the division, but The Bees managed to claim all three points at Ewood Park with a battling performance and strong defensive play added to the clinical Ivan Toney from the spot. Brentford could have been more than a goal up at the break, but the first half was mostly played in the middle third. The second was more open with Blackburn introducing attacking players and pushing forward but the hosts could not breach Brentford’s well-drilled defence and The Bees took the points.

Brentford B win away at Chelsea Under-23s

Brentford B picked up an impressive 2-1 win away from home against Chelsea Under-23s on 21 March with an impressive display at Cobham. Aaron Pressley, who had a magnificent season in front of goal, and one of the Trialists grabbed the goals in the second period to confirm the win for the resolute Bees. The likes of Fin Stevens, Ethan Robb and Lewis Gordon featured as a back three on the day as Neil MacFarlane had to contend with a number of injuries for his side.

In the March international break Nathan Shepperd, Joe Adams and Fin Stevens came up against Alex Gilbert in a friendly in Wrexham.

Nathan, Joe and Fin were representing the Wales Under-21s side whilst Alex turned out for Republic of Ireland Under-21s.It was the Irish who nicked the win with a 2-1 result at Colliers Park. Take a look at how the action unfolded.
