The country has been pausing today for a National Day of Reflection and Mind, the EFL's partner charity, has been reminding fans to look after their mental health. On 23 March 2020, the Government instructed residents to remain at home due to the outbreak of Covid-19 in the country, instigating the first ever national lockdown. One year on and Covid-19 is still present with life a long way from normal. This anniversary was marked today.

As part of the ongoing partnership between the EFL and Mind, the mental health charity, some tips have been supplied to keep your mental health in the best condition, especially on this anniversary, when times may be tough. The EFL and Mind celebrated the two year anniversary of their ‘On Your Side’ partnership earlier this season. The partnership, which has been extended until at least the end of season 2021/22, was established in 2018 to raise awareness of mental health amongst fans and the wider public, help raise funds for Mind to deliver life changing services and improve the approach to mental health in the EFL and clubs.

Movement is still being restricted by the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak and many people have not seen family for months. But Mind are able to offer some support. See below.
