Referee: Michael Dean

Assistant Referees: Ian Hussin and Daniel Robathan

Fourth Official: Lee Mason

Video Assistant Referee: Peter Bankes

One of the most recognisable referees on the circuit, Mike Dean was promoted to the full referees list in 1997 before graduating to the Select Group of Referees three years later. During his distinguished career, the Wirral-born official has taken charge of FA Cup Finals, League Cup Finals, and Play-Off finals, as well as spending a decade on the FIFA international list.

Dean has taken charge of Spurs 71 times but only twice has he been in charge of a game involving Brentford. The first of those games was a 3-1 win over AFC Bournemouth in February 2015 with the most recent our Carabao Cup Third Round defeat to Arsenal in September 2018.

Dean took charge of his 500th Premier League match last February, having shown his 100th top flight red card the previous April.

So far this season, Dean has shown 42 yellow cards and three red cards in 11 Premier League outings.
