Brentford take on Reading in round three of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday 15 September at the Select Car Leasing Stadium (8pm kick-off BST).

The match will be broadcast live in the UK on Sky Sports+.

If you are heading to Berkshire, here is everything you need to know to ensure you are ready for your visit.

Ticketing information - digital tickets are in use for this fixture  

Due to a technical error, some digital tickets display incorrect gate information. If you are affected, you will receive an email confirming whether you should enter via Gate 9, 10 or 11.

Please follow the gate information provided in your email rather than the information shown on your ticket. The gate displayed on your ticket will not update, but your ticket remains valid and will scan as normal.

Tickets for this fixture will be distributed digitally. You will receive your ticket(s) by email ahead of the match. Please follow the instructions on the email to get your ticket ready on your phone.

Any duplicate ticket requests must be sent to Reading by the Brentford box office.

Travel

Select Car Leasing Stadium is located 2.5 miles south of the town centre. It is not recommended to walk this route as it is not pedestrian friendly and it will be dark.

Trains  

Reading is one of the UK’s most connected train stations serving nearly all major cities. Direct Great Western Rail Services from Paddington run frequently and take around 25 minutes, with the last fast-speed train home at 10.54pm, however slower services will run until around 1am.

The slower services will stop at Ealing Broadway, West Drayton, Maidenhead and Slough. Alternatively, the Elizabeth line also runs frequently but will take 54 minutes.

From the station to the stadium, the F1 bus runs between Reading Station and the stadium from 6.00pm and continues into the evening for an hour after the full-time whistle.

Travel by car  

Reading's recommended car park is Mereoak Park & Ride (where you connect to the F3 shuttle).

Parking is free and only a short bus ride away from the stadium. Fares on return bus shuttle are £7.50 for adults and £5.50 for concessions. Situated just south of Junction 11 of the M4, take the A33 towards Basingstoke and follow the signs for the Park & Ride site. The F3 Shuttle will take you up to the ground. The bus stop for the stadium is at the bottom of Hurst Way roundabout.

Wheelchair bays are located in blocks R30, R31, and R32. Headsets with commentary are available for visually impaired supporters if they can contact [email protected] with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

A longer stay  

Reading has a range of hotels to suit all budgets, with chains such as Hilton, Travelodge and Premier Inn as well as independent hotels.

The UK’s largest town without city status, there are a significant number of restaurants and bars in the city centre open until late.

Your matchday at Reading 

The away section is in the south stand.  

The hosts recommend the Three Guineas Pub, which is part of the train station building beside the exit. We advise leaving the pub with plenty of time to make kick-off.

Pubs near the ground are limited, however away fans are welcome in the on-site Fan Zone for those seeking a family-friendly experience. Those who can arrive earlier may visit the Holiday Inn bar by the ground.

All bags will be searched upon entering the ground.

Under-14s must be accompanied by an adult (over 18).
