The goals came from Dom Jefferies, who grabbed his third in Brentford colours, before Tristan Crama scored his first for the Club in the second half.
It was a game that the young Bees controlled for large parts and they started on the front foot with lots of possession with Joe Adams lively in the opening stages, particularly as he almost played in Wraynel Hercules inside two minutes after some good play.
Isaac Thompson then managed to get in behind and cross low into the Brentford area but for good anticipation from Nathan Shepperd who collected.
The opening goal came on 22 minutes when Val Adedokun, who often threatened down the left as part of a front three, burst down the wing and sent in a dangerous cross which was blocked into the path of Jefferies who struck first time low into the bottom right-hand corner from just outside the box.
It was almost 2-0 on 34 minutes when Adams latched onto a ball into the box but he couldn’t keep his header on target as it edged wide of goal. Fisher struggled to really threaten the side with Brentford comfortable in possession but an opportunity did present itself when a bouncing ball in behind saw Shepperd quick off his line as he clashed with striker Christian Udo and claimed.
The Bees started the second half with a similar momentum with Jefferies once again helping to drive the side forwards. A Brentford free-kick preceded another set piece which was delivered into the area from a corner and Crama rose highest to crash a header against the post before the follow-up effort from the Trialist was well held by the keeper.
Courtney Swaby had a good attempt for Fisher on 65 minutes when a bit of a scramble in the box saw the ball fall to the Fisher man but his first time strike from inside the area sailed over.
Crama then got his goal when a well worked free-kick was played short before the ball fell to the Frenchman who fired home with a low effort with the help of a deflection.
The closing stages saw the hosts see more of the ball but often as they got into promising positions their final ball wasn’t quite there as crosses were either overhit or the Brentford back line did well to win their aerial duels.
It was almost 3-0 right in the dying moments as Hercules was played through on goal as Brentford counter-attacked, but for the Fisher keeper’s leg which blocked the attempt well.
