The young Bees, who took on a strong Wycombe Wanderers side on Tuesday this week in a narrow defeat, will be looking to return to winning ways when they play the National League South side.

Prior to the match with Wycombe the side had been in outstanding form, picking up six consecutive wins prior to the match at Adams Park. The side that took on Wycombe was heavily rotated with the likes of Fin Stevens, Alex Gilbert and Max Haygarth all involved with the First Team matchday squad for the trip to Swansea City in the Sky Bet Championship. The side were also missing the likes of Ben Hockenhull, Paris Maghoma, Gustav Mogensen and Mads Bidstrup, all who are progressing well following injuries.

Hemel Hempstead Town play in the National League South, Level 6, Step 2, of English football’s pyramid system. The league has recently had a two-week suspension of fixtures with a decision still to be made regarding the financial implications of continuing the 2020/21 season during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Prior to the pause in fixtures, Hemel Hempstead have fallen to three consecutive league defeats as they sit 15th in the league table having picked up 16 points from their first 15 games.
