Attacking midfield player Alex Pritchard has picked up a further award.

The 21-year-old England Under-21 international, who is on loan at Brentford from Tottenham Hotspur for the duration of the 2014/15 season, was named FL Wonderkid by MATCH magazine.

The weekly football publication hands out awards as part of its Top 50 in the Football League feature.

This season Alex was named as the best young player by the magazine.

He made 45 Sky Bet Championship appearances as Brentford finished fifth in the league, reaching the Play-Offs.

Alex also scored 12 goals, including the first against Wigan Athletic in the 3-0 win that secured Brentford’s Play-Off place on Saturday, May 2.

Alex finished 11th in the top 50 list and he was joined by Spaniard Jota, who was 31st, and top-scorer Andre Gray, who was 39th.
