The 52-year-old was appointed Interim First Team Coach alongside Nicky Forster as Interim Manager on February 3 2011 after the departure of Andy Scott and Terry Bullivant.
In the summer of 2011, Mark became the Club’s first ever Sporting Director, overseeing the extensive changes to Brentford's Academy, plus the creation of new medical, recruitment, analysis and logistical departments.
This also included the expansion of Brentford’s training base at Osterley, in West London.
After accepting Matthew Benham’s invitation to become manager after Uwe Rösler’s departure in December 2013, he presided over Brentford’s promotion to the Sky Bet Championship in May 2014.
Mark currently has the highest win ratio of any manager in the Club’s history.
