Brentford defender Tristan Crama, on loan at Exeter City, scored his first professional goal in the Grecians' 2-1 defeat away at Northampton Town in Sky Bet League One on Saturday.

The defender, who played for the Bees throughout pre-season before the move down south, put Gary Caldwell's side ahead within the first ten minutes when he headed a corner home at the back post.

Despite the visitors creating several more chances, Northampton made a resurgence in the final 25 minutes and flipped the game on its head, with Callum Morton and Cameron McGeehan scoring to win the Cobblers three points.

Crama has started both league games for Exeter this season; City have one win and one defeat so far this term.

The centre-back will be hoping to be involved in their next League One fixture against Peterborough United on Saturday.

Ellery Balcombe has played six times for St Mirren since joining the Scottish side on loan this summer.

The goalkeeper has played two Scottish Premiership games - a 3-0 win over Hibernian and a 3-1 defeat to Aberdeen - as well as four European matches for Stephen Robinson's side.

He started both legs of their Europa Conference League second-round triumph over Icelandic side Valur, before also featuring in the 4-2 aggregate defeat to Norway outfit Brann, which eliminated them from the competition.

Balcombe and St Mirren will host Scottish champions Celtic on Sunday.

Balcombe's goalkeeping team-mate Ben Winterbottom has been an unused substitute in both of Fylde's National League games so far this term - a 3-2 victory over Solihull Moors and a 4-2 loss away at Eastleigh.

Michael Olakigbe is still out injured for Wigan Athletic, after he broke his leg in pre-season. The Latics were comprehensively beaten in League One by Reading, as the Royals recorded a 2-0 win in Berkshire.
