The 30-year-old, who worked with the Brentford Women's First-Team during the 2015-16 season, returns after leaving Sky Bet League Two side Grimsby Town in May. He joins Development Team managers Nathan Mobey and Justin Ali in the coaching team as The Bees prepare for the upcoming campaign.

As a player, Karleigh came through the ranks at Griffin Park, going on to make 175 appearances for The Bees over eight seasons, picking up a League Two Championship winner's medal along the way.

Following spells with Millwall and Bristol City, Karleigh began coaching Brentford's women's side while on loan at AFC Wimbledon during the 2015-16 season. Moves to Plymouth Argyle, Kilmarnock, and Grimsby took him out of the capital but he now returns to The Bees in preparation for the new campaign.

A mid-table finish last term means the First Team will play in Division One while the Development Team face a new challenge in Division Two North following their second-placed finish and promotion in May.
