Justin Shaibu could barely hide his delight as he spoke to Bees Player after putting pen to paper on a two-year deal to become a Brentford B player earlier today. The 18-year-old striker, who joins The Bees from Danish club HB Køge, becomes the latest addition to Flemming Pedersen’s Brentford B squad who are currently in Denmark on a Training Camp. Justin, who completed a successful trial with Brentford, earlier this month said he couldn’t wait to meet up with his teammates and properly get started.

“I am very honoured and proud to be here,” said Justin, speaking to Bees Player after signing his deal. “I am very happy to have joined this great club. There are a lot of great people here and there is a really positive energy. Everyone at the club lives and breathes for the club which I really like. My new teammates were very welcoming to me and I am looking forward to seeing them again. I am excited to go back to Denmark now and join the training camp there.”

The Danish Youth International will be working alongside fellow countryman Flemming Pedersen when he joins up with his new teammates later this week. Justin feels that Flemming’s passion for the game is great to see in a coach adding that he has already helped him settle into life in West London.

“Flemming has been very helpful to me,” said Justin. “If I don’t understand something then he will explain it to me. Flemming is very passionate about football. He really lives for football and I love that about him.”

The quick, powerful striker spent last season played for HB Køge’s Under-19’s but has also featured for the Danish second division's first team in both league and cup. When asked what type of player he thought he was, Justin cited Everton striker Romelu Lukaku as a player that he looks up to.

"I like to think I play like Romelu Lukaku," said Justin. "I have got great pace, a lot of energy, a lot of power, and I am a great finisher."
