Brentford midfield player Jake Reeves has joined AFC Wimbledon on loan.

The 19-year-old will train with the South West London side this morning and be available for their npower League Two game against Exeter City tomorrow.

Jake has signed a deal to stay with Wimbledon until January 13 2013 but Brentford have not given permission for him to play in the FA Cup with Budweiser.

Jake is a product of Brentford’s youth system, having completed his two-year scholarship in the summer of 2011 and turned professional.

He was on the books of Tottenham Hotspur until the age of 16 and was spotted by former Youth Team Manager Darren Sarll and given a scholarship at Brentford.

Jake captained the Youth Team in 2010/11, made his First Team debut on the final day of that season and then his full debut at the start of the 2011/12 season after impressing in pre-season.

He has made 13 appearances for The Bees in all competitions.
