At this weekend’s match against Wolves, best-selling author and Brentford fan Greville Waterman will be showcasing his book, Just a Bus Stop in Hounslow: Brentford FC’s 2021/22 Season in the Premier League.
Greville will be in the Legends Lounge before the game from 12.30pm until 2.45pm and post-match in the Dugout from 5pm to sign copies of the book and meet supporters.
Featuring exclusive interviews with players and officials, Just a Bus Stop in Hounslow follows our debut season home and away.
It covers the matches, the signings and the departures – including the arrival and impact of Christian Eriksen - offering behind-the-scenes insights plus historical perspectives.
Jim Levack’s five-star review said: “The book has a good pace, with Q&A sessions with chair Cliff Crown and Co ensuring it doesn’t reflect the relentless game after game nature of the Premier League.
“Trusted by the Club, Greville has been given access and hasn’t wasted it on the clickbait hype that’s a blight on today’s game. He has a journalistic approach twinned with genuine love that ensures he finds those little titbits that make a book memorable.” The book will be available for purchase on Saturday in the Dugout and Legends Lounges, priced £12.99.
Greville has written three previous books on the Club: Ahead of the Game: Brentford FC 2014/15 Season; Growing Pains: Brentford FC’s 2015/16 Season and OOH-AHH: The Bob Booker Story.
