Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has provided an update on Kristoffer Ajer and Mikkel Damsgaard.
The duo were forced off during the Bees’ 2-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday.
“Kristoffer is an ankle injury, and Dams is a knee injury,” Andrews revealed.
“We’ll see over the next day or two once we’ve calmed things down. They’ll have scans and hopefully we can get some positive news on that front.”
Andrews added: “Dams was playing well in the game. He was looking back to his brilliant best, playing between the lines and looking to create. It’s the best part of his game, when he’s on that type of form, finding areas where he can be effective.”
On his side’s performance, Andrews said: “They took their chances – two shots on target, three points. If we’re being honest, we can do better with those.
“At the other end, we needed to be more clinical and ruthless when we created opportunities.
“The performance levels were pretty good – we didn’t hit top, top levels – but we did enough to have got something from the game.
“I thought we were a bit static at times. We sustained attacks pretty well during the second half. Equally, they were sitting mid to low and defended their box really well.”
