Brentford goalkeeper Julian Eyestone has joined Rotherham United on a season-long loan.

The 20-year-old will spend the duration of the 2026/27 campaign with the Millers in Sky Bet League Two.

Born in Texas, Eyestone played for Solar before joining the FC Dallas Academy aged 11, where he remained for the following six years.

He then joined Duke, a prestigious sporting school, before signing for Brentford B in the summer of 2024.

An impressive first year in west London, in which he helped the young Bees reach the final of the Premier League Cup and win the Under-21 Professional Development League, saw him awarded a new long-term contract and promoted to the first team in July 2025.

Eyestone featured in one of Keith Andrews’ matchday squads last term, while continuing to excel for the B team.

Having previously been capped at under-19, U20 and U21 level, he was called up as a training goalkeeper for the USA senior squad during their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
