Brentford defender Jayden Meghoma has joined Sky Bet Championship side Portsmouth on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old left-back will spend the duration of 2026/27 at Pompey alongside fellow Bees loanee Benjamin Arthur.
Meghoma, who has represented England at every level from under-16s to U20s, came through the youth ranks at Tottenham Hotspur before joining Southampton aged 16.
He signed his first professional contract in July 2023 and made his first-team debut the following month in a Carabao Cup tie against Gillingham.
Three more appearances – all in the FA Cup – followed that season before he sealed a move to Brentford on Deadline Day of the 2024 summer transfer window.
Meghoma featured in three Carabao Cup ties and made his Premier League debut against Chelsea during the first half of 2024/25, before joining Preston North End on loan in January of that campaign.
He spent the duration of last term with Glasgow giants Rangers and made 44 appearances across the Scottish Premiership, Champions League qualifying, Europa League, SFA Cup and League Cup.
During his time in Scotland, he also scored his first goal in senior football, a superb long-range effort against Dundee United.
