Gustavo Nunes has joined Sky Bet Championship side Swansea City on loan until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.

The 20-year-old winger has made five substitute appearances for Brentford since joining the Bees in August 2024.

Born in southern Brazil, Nunes joined Grêmio's youth set-up in 2021, aged 15.

He made his first-team debut for the club in February 2024, coming on as a first-half substitute and providing an assist in a 1-1 ‎Série A draw with São Luiz. He scored his first goal six days later, netting the opener in a 6-2 victory over Santa Cruz.

In total, Nunes made 20 appearances for Grêmio in the Brazilian top flight, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

After a long wait to make his Brentford debut due to injury, the winger finally made his first appearance for the club as a late substitute against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium in April 2025, before two other cameos later that campaign.

This term, Nunes returned to full fitness having picked up a hamstring injury in pre-season, coming on in the Bees’ 2-0 FA Cup victory over Sheffield Wednesday and 2-0 Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City.
