The draw for round two of the Carabao Cup will take place on Wednesday 13 August.
Hosted on Sky Sports Football at approximately 7.20pm BST, it will be included in the coverage ahead of the Birmingham City v Sheffield United round one tie that evening.
Brentford, alongside the other 10 Premier League clubs not participating in European competitions this term, will enter at the round two stage.
Round two ties will take place on the week commencing 25 August, the midweek after Keith Andrews' side host Aston Villa at Gtech Community Stadium.
Both of the first two rounds are regionalised into a southern and northern section, before they are then combined for round three.
The Bees reached the quarter-final of last year's Carabao Cup before being knocked out by eventual winners, Newcastle United.
