Brentford have been drawn to face Sky Bet Championship side Birmingham City away in round two of the Carabao Cup.

Keith Andrews' side will visit St Andrew's in the week commencing Monday 24 August.

A confirmed date for the tie, which is sandwiched between the 2026/27 Premier League opener against Tottenham Hotspur at Gtech Community Stadium and an away match against Leeds United at Eland Road, will be announced in due course.

Birmingham defeated fellow second-tier side Swansea City 1-0 to progress from round one.

The Bees, who enter at this stage alongside the other 10 top-flight teams not competing in a European competition this season, reached the quarter-final of the Carabao Cup in the last two campaigns.
