Brentford have been drawn to face Sunderland away in round four of the Carabao Cup.

The Bees defeated Championship side Birmingham City 6-1 before winning 2-1 at League One outfit Reading to reach this stage.

As a result of competing in the UEFA Europa League, Sunderland entered the Carabao Cup in round three, where they defeated Hull City 1-0.

Round four ties will take place during the week commencing 26 October, between Brentford's Premier League games away at Hull City and at home to Nottingham Forest.
