The EFL announced today, Tuesday 3 March, that a total of 5,856 players and club staff from all 72 EFL Clubs were tested as part of last week’s Covid-19 testing programme. It has been confirmed that two positive cases were returned.

A twice-weekly Covid-19 mandatory testing programme is now in place for all 72 clubs. The results released today cover all tests undertaken from Monday 22 to Sunday 28 February. The EFL confirmed that 70 clubs returned zero positive tests over this period.

Players or club staff who have tested positive will self-isolate in line with latest Government guidance.
