David Button made his 100th appearance in league and cup matches for Brentford in last night's game against Middlesbrough at The Riverside Stadium. The 26-year-old goalkeeper got past the 100 mark by combining 96 league, one FA Cup and three Capital One Cup appearances.

After signing for The Bees in the summer of 2013, he made his First Team debut on the opening day of that following season in a 1-1 draw with newly-promoted Port Vale.

Button has so far managed to keep 32 clean sheets in total for Brentford. This figure includes the shutout against Preston North End on 18 April 2014, which helped the Bees clinch automatic promotion to the Sky Bet Championship. He was also ever-present during the run of five wins in five games last November against Derby County, Nottingham Forest, Millwall, Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
