Referee: Darren England

Assistant Referees: Marc Perry and Adrian Holmes

Fourth Official: Stephen Martin

This is Darren England's sixth season as an EFL referee having spent many years in the professional game as a linesman, including running the line for the 2015 FA Cup Final between Aston Villa and Arsenal.

We've only lost once in England's seven matches. Last season the South Yorkshire official took charge of three games with one win, one draw, and one loss. He officiated August's 1-1 draw at home to Hull City, February's 2-1 reverse at Luton Town and our 1-0 win over Preston North End in July.

Ahead of that there was a 3-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers and a 3-3 draw with Sunderland during the 2017/18 season and a 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic in September 2018.

This season's one outing came in the Carabao Cup Third Round against West Bromwich Albion. England awarded three spot kicks in regulation time, one for us and two for The Baggies, as we went on to win 5-4 on penalties following a 2-2 draw.

In total, England has shown 62 yellow cards and one red in 23 matches this term.
