Courtney Senior has left Brentford after agreeing to join Sky Bet League Two side Colchester United on a two-year-deal. Courtney, who turns 19 on Thursday, came through the youth setup at Jersey Road and signed his first professional contract last summer, after completing his two-year scholarship.

The pacey wide-player was part of the 2012 Milk Cup winning side where he was named the Player of the Tournament. Courtney spent a month on loan at Wycombe Wanderers in February 2015, making his Football League debut in The Chairboys 2-0 Sky Bet League Two defeat to Plymouth Argyle. The attacker made his Brentford first-team debut in the 4-0 Capital One Cup defeat to Oxford United last August and was an unused substitute on two further occasions.
